Sparklight Voted Best Internet Provider in Rio Rancho
August 16, 2022 – Rio Rancho, N.M. – Sparklight® was recently voted “Best Internet/Cable Provider” in the Rio Rancho Observer’s Readers’ Choice contest.
Rio Rancho community members were invited to votein the 2022 Readers’ Choice special sectionfor their favorite businesses. In order to qualify, companies were required to actively conduct business in Sandoval County or northwest Albuquerque and have a physical location within the designated region. Readers were permitted one nomination per category.
“We are honored to be selected as the Best Internet/Cable Provider by our Rio Rancho customers,” said Sparklight General Manager Richard Estrada. “Our company is proud to be a member of the local business community and to provide high-quality service. Our local associates live and work in this region and share Sparklight’s commitment to giving back to the Rio Rancho community. We are deeply honored by this recognition.”
Sparklight is committed to giving back to the communities it serves, including Rio Rancho, through donations of time and resources. The company’s Charitable Giving Fund, which annually awards $250,000 in grants, has benefitted Rio Rancho organizations in the past two years with a $5,000 grant to Rio Rancho’s LifeROOTS, a non-profit providing support for disabled individuals, and a $3,000 grant to Kayak New Mexico, Inc., an organization that helps people with developmental special needs learn valuable problem solving, motor planning, social and communications skills. The Charitable Giving Fund is an extension of the company’s existing corporate and social responsibility efforts, which include Chromebook for Kids, an initiative in which Sparklight has donated nearly 3,000 Chromebooks to Title 1 schools since 2014; partnerships with the Arbor Day Foundation and Keep America Beautiful; and most importantly, the volunteer efforts of Sparklight associates at local Rio Rancho non-profit organizations, including local food banks, Rio Rancho PetSmart animal adoptions, and others.
