Sparklight Awards $6,000 Charitable Giving Fund Grant to Bisbee Coalition for the Homeless
BISBEE, Ariz. (Jan. 22, 2026) – Individuals experiencing housing insecurity will benefit from a $6,000 grant awarded to the Bisbee Coalition for the Homeless by Sparklight® through its Charitable Giving Fund. The grant will help the nonprofit meet rising needs for food, resources and essential supplies.
During its recent grant cycle, Sparklight awarded more than $125,000 in grants to 25 nonprofit organizations across the cities and towns it serves. From hunger relief to child and family support to education and vital skills training, the funding is helping enhance communities and uplift lives.
The grant was presented during a food distribution event on Jan. 21, where five Sparklight associates volunteered. The high-speed internet provider has previously donated time and funds to the nonprofit.
“Bisbee Coalition for the Homeless is doing meaningful, compassionate work across our community,” said Jay Macleod, Sparklight Senior Regional Director, Southwest. “We are proud to stand alongside them and help ensure our neighbors have support when they need it most.”
Bisbee Coalition for the Homeless Executive Director Tony Bedolla expressed appreciation for the grant and partnership.
“We sincerely appreciate Sparklight’s support of our work,” said Bedolla. “This grant helps us provide safety, food and services to individuals experiencing homelessness — ensuring they feel seen, valued and cared for. With Sparklight on our side, we can continue offering hope during people’s most vulnerable moments.”
The company’s Charitable Giving Fund focuses on initiatives that create lasting, local impact, including education and digital literacy, hunger relief and community development. Since the Fund’s inception in 2020, Sparklight has awarded more than $1.2 million in grants to more than 275 nonprofits that make a difference in the lives of those they serve.
Nonprofit organizations may apply for a grant during open application periods each spring and fall. Applications for the spring 2026 cycle will be accepted April 1–30, 2026.
