Sparklight, Friends of Perry Animal Shelter Host Adoption Event

Event extends Connect for a Cause campaign while introducing Sparklight Mobile

PERRY, Ga. (April 20, 2026) — Sparklight®, Perry’s hometown internet provider, is teaming up with Friends of Perry Animal Shelter (FOPAS) to host a community adoption event and pet supply drive as part of its “Connect for a Cause” campaign. 

The event will take place Friday, April 24, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., outside the Sparklight retail location at 1357 Sam Nunn Blvd. in Perry. Community members are invited to stop by to meet adoptable cats and dogs, learn more about the campaign, and support local animals in need. Pet food and treat donations, including Milk-Bones and Dentastix, will be gladly accepted.

Through Connect for a Cause, Sparklight will donate $10 to FOPAS for every new Sparklight Mobile line activated in Perry through April 30, with a guaranteed minimum contribution of $1,500. Funds will help provide food, medical care and safe shelter for pets awaiting adoption.
