Sparklight® Donation Supports Tornado Relief Efforts
December 14, 2021 – PHOENIX – As tornado-ravaged communities across Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi and Tennessee begin the process of recovery and restoration, Sparklight®, a member of the Cable One® family of brands, has pledged to donate $15,000 to the American Red Cross to support relief efforts.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with all those impacted by the disastrous effects of the recent tornadoes,” said President and CEO Julie Laulis. “While we don’t operate in the hardest-hit communities, we have faced similar devastation in the markets we serve and understand how critical community support is during this extremely difficult time.”
Service to a small portion of customers in the company’s Kennett, Missouri and Dyersburg, Tennessee markets was briefly impacted by the tornadoes. Sparklight technicians worked around the clock and restored service within 24 hours to customers who were not affected by commercial power outages.
