NATCHEZ, Miss. (April 16, 2026) — Sparklight® is proud to award a $2,500 STEM grant to Morgantown Elementary School in Natchez through its annual “Dream Bigger” social media campaign, supporting innovative science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education opportunities for K‒12 students.

The funding will support the launch of the school’s Immersive STEM Learning Initiative, enabling students to conduct virtual science experiments, explore complex mathematical concepts using 3D models, and participate in engineering design challenges that build problem-solving skills.

“We are truly honored to receive Sparklight’s $2,500 Dream Bigger grant, which will directly support our efforts to expand STEM learning opportunities through immersive and innovative experiences for our students,” said Dr. Toni Martin, Morgantown Elementary School Principal. “This investment will make a meaningful difference in how our students engage with science and technology.”

“Expanding access to technology helps create new pathways for students to explore STEM in engaging and meaningful ways,” said Charlie Oakes, Sparklight Senior Regional Director, Gulf Coast. “We’re proud to support Morgantown Elementary as they introduce this immersive learning initiative and provide students with high-impact experiences that build STEM skills and aptitude for the future.”

Since its launch in 2019, Sparklight’s “Dream Bigger” initiative has awarded more than $200,000 in grants to support STEM education and expand access to innovative learning opportunities for K‒12 students. In 2026, 12 schools and organizations across Sparklight’s 24-state footprint were selected to receive funding for impactful, student-focused projects.
