BILOXI, Miss. (Jan. 30, 2026) – Elementary and middle school students will benefit from a $5,000 grant awarded to Storm 4107 by Sparklight® through its Charitable Giving Fund. The grant will fund robotics kits for the nonprofit’s StormWorks Summer Camp, which provides hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) learning opportunities.

During its recent grant cycle, Sparklight awarded more than $125,000 in grants to 25 nonprofit organizations across the cities and towns it serves. From hunger relief to child and family support to education and vital skills training, the funding is helping enhance communities and uplift lives.

“Storm 4107 is helping open doors to STEM education for students across the Gulf Coast,” said Charlie Oakes, Sparklight Senior Regional Director, Gulf Coast. “Through our Charitable Giving Fund, we’re proud to support this experience, inspiring young students to explore STEM and encouraging learning beyond the classroom.”

Storm 4107 Board President Brenden Phillips expressed appreciation for the grant.

“We are grateful for Sparklight’s support of our StormWorks Summer Camp,” said Phillips. “Hands-on STEM experiences spark curiosity, creativity and confidence, and Sparklight’s partnership will help us create those opportunities for more young learners in our community. Together, we’re inspiring the next generation of thinkers, builders and problem-solvers.”

The company’s Charitable Giving Fund focuses on initiatives that create lasting, local impact, including education and digital literacy, hunger relief and community development. Since the Fund’s inception in 2020,

Sparklight has awarded more than $1.2 million in grants to more than 275 nonprofits that make a difference in the lives of those they serve.
