SAFFORD, Ariz. (June 17, 2026) – Seniors in Graham and Greenlee counties will benefit from a $7,500 grant awarded to Southeastern Arizona Community Unique Services (SEACUS) by Sparklight®. The Charitable Giving Fund grant will help the nonprofit provide nutritious meals and wellness checks to housebound seniors and adults with disabilities.

During its recent grant cycle, Sparklight awarded more than $125,000 in grants to 28 nonprofit organizations across the cities and towns it serves. By investing in programs that support children and families, address food insecurity, expand educational opportunities and build critical life skills, the funding is helping improve lives and strengthen local communities.

“Organizations like SEACUS provide essential support that helps our neighbors live with dignity, independence and connection to their community,” said Jay Macleod, Sparklight Senior Regional Director, Southwest. “We’re proud to support their efforts and help ensure residents in need throughout Graham and Greenlee counties have access to the services and care they depend on.”

SEACUS leaders said the grant will help expand support for some of the community’s most vulnerable residents while reducing isolation and improving access to nutritious meals.

“We are deeply grateful to Sparklight for its generous grant to our home-delivered meal program,” said Stephanie Nabor, SEACUS Executive Director. “For many of our clients, a meal delivery is more than food — it’s a lifeline that reduces isolation and provides reassurance that someone cares. This grant reflects Sparklight’s commitment to the well-being of our community and those who need it most.”

Sparklight’s Charitable Giving Fund focuses on initiatives that create lasting, local impact, including education and digital literacy, hunger relief and community development. Since the Fund’s inception in 2020,

Sparklight has awarded more than $1.3 million in grants to more than 300 nonprofits that make a difference in the lives of those they serve.

Nonprofit organizations may apply for a grant during open application periods each spring and fall. Applications for the fall 2026 cycle will be accepted Oct. 1‒31, 2026.
