BISBEE COMMUNITY INVITED TO CELEBRATE SPARKLIGHT® REBRAND
January 15, 2020 – Bisbee,AZ— As Sparklight, formerly Cable ONE, completes its name change, the Bisbee community is invited to celebrate at a special event on Thursday, Jan. 30.
"Our Sparklight rebrand not only reflects our company's evolution, but also signals a renewed commitment to the communities we serve," said Sparklight's Bisbee General Manager Kim Collins. "We look forward to welcoming residents of Bisbee and the surrounding communities to join us in celebrating this exciting milestone."
The Sparklight celebration will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30, at the Sparklight office, located at 99 Bisbee Road. There will be refreshments, sandwiches from Po Boys to Geaux, giveaways and prizes. Sparklight associates will be available to answer any questions from customers about their current services or in-home WiFi coverage, as well as those inquiring about new high-speed internet service.
Cable One announced its plans to rebrand to Sparklight in the spring of 2019. The high-speed internet and cable service provider began its transition to the new brand over the summer with updated trucks, signage, uniforms, website and social media handles.
The transition, however, is not simply about rebranding products under a new name and look. The Sparklight brand better reflects the company's transformation from its origins as a traditional cable company to a full-service provider committed to providing its communities with connectivity that enriches their world. The name illustrates the speed and connectivity the company is known for, while at the same time symbolizing its new brand promise – connecting people to what matters.
The company continues to focus on making the lives of its customers easier by providing value-added services, such as advanced WiFi service, expanded self-service options through improved residential and business portals, and delivering a more personalized customer experience.
Sparklight is also strengthening its commitment to the communities it serves through educational programs, corporate giving and donations of time and resources. In Bisbee last year that included participation in a Back to School Backpack event which provided school supplies to students in need, participating as a drop-off location for the Bisbee Fire Department's food drive, sponsoring the Bisbee Rotary Club's Taste of Bisbee, sponsoring the Mariachi Festival benefitting the Bisbee Homeless Shelter, and support of Bisbee High School's football and basketball programs.
