CABLE ONE PARTNERS WITH ARBOR DAY FOUNDATION TO PLANT 60,000 TREES
December 8, 2015 – Phoenix,AZ — As the result of a partnership between Cable ONE and the Arbor Day Foundation, 50,000 trees have been planted by Foundation members in Cable ONE markets across the country on behalf of the first 50,000 customers who switched to the company’s new paperless billing service.
Paperless billing is part of Cable ONE’s ongoing effort to offer customers more choices while reducing the company’s impact on the environment.
To date, more than 50,000 Cable ONE customers have chosen to go paperless. Along with the reduction of paper used, enrolling in paperless billing simplifies the lives of customers by providing a faster, more convenient way to manage their account online and gain access to billing statements.
“We’re thrilled with the positive response we’ve received to our paperless billing service and our partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation,” said Cable ONE Vice President Pat Dolohanty. “Whether they care about conserving natural resources, planting trees in their community, or simply enjoying the convenience that paperless billing offers, we’re offering our customers a simple way to make a difference with just a few easy steps.”
Cable ONE will continue its partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation in 2016, with a commitment to plant an additional 10,000 trees.
