CABLE ONE INTRODUCES NEW CHANNEL LINE UP, ALL-DIGITAL SERVICE IN GLOBE AND MIAMI
September 13, 2013 – Globe,AZ — Cable ONE is excited to announce the transition to an all new, all digital platform in the Globe/Miami area.
"The addition of more than 25 new high definition channels, even better picture quality, and faster Internet speeds will unlock a gateway of new entertainment options for our customers,” said Cable ONE General Manager Stephen Brideau. “In addition to more HD channels, many new channels will be launched in early January after the completion of the All Digital transition, including AMC, Travel Channel, Hallmark Movie Channel, CBS Sports Network, Independent Film Channel, and Sundance Channel."
The transition to All Digital will include the introduction of a new channel lineup, which will be implemented in phases. All customers with a Motorola set top box or CableCARD will see the new lineup October 1 - 4. Customers without a set top box or CableCARD will not see the new lineup until they connect a new All Digital Device to their TV. Cable ONE will begin rolling out the new All Digital Devices on October 15.
Customers will receive a new channel guide in the mail and the lineup will also be published in the September 25th edition of the Copper Country News and the Arizona Silverbelt. In the new lineup, similar type programming will be grouped together, making it easier to find programming categories such as news, sports and children’s programming.
