Sparklight® Donates $5,000 to the Oregon Food Bank to Support New Ontario Community Food Center
ONTARIO, Ore. (Dec. 22, 2025) – Sparklight®, Ontario’s hometown internet provider, is donating $5,000 to the Oregon Food Bank to help fund construction of its Ontario Community Food Center — a new regional hub that will expand food access and community services for thousands of local families. The Oregon Food Bank expects to break ground on the new center this coming spring.
Funds contributed through Dec. 31, including Sparklight’s grant, will be matched dollar-for-dollar by an anonymous donor, doubling the impact of community support for the project.
Oregon Food Bank’s Southeast Oregon programs served more than 76,000 individuals and nearly 29,000 households last fiscal year to help address continually growing need. The new Ontario Community Food Center will increase capacity, offer additional wraparound services and strengthen support for families facing food insecurity.

Oregon Food Bank leaders say Sparklight’s grant — combined with the matching donor opportunity — will accelerate progress.
