Sparklight Awards $5,000 Charitable Giving Fund Grant to Bannock County FOP Christmas
POCATELLO, Idaho (Dec. 29, 2025) – Children in Bannock County experienced a brighter holiday season thanks to a $5,000 grant from Sparklight® through its Charitable Giving Fund. The grant supported the Bannock County FOP Christmas Cops & Kids program, which pairs children in need with officers for a day of shopping, bonding and community building.
During its recent grant cycle, Sparklight awarded more than $125,000 to 25 nonprofit organizations across the cities and towns it serves. From child and family support to hunger relief to vital skills training, the funding is helping enhance communities and uplift lives.
“Sparklight is honored to support the Bannock County FOP Christmas initiative,” said Katie Flores, Sparklight Regional Marketing Director, Northwest. “When children have the chance to shop with officers and choose gifts for those they love, it builds confidence, connection and memories that last well beyond the holiday season. We’re grateful to help make moments like these possible.”
Sgt. Jodi Weaver, Bannock County FOP Christmas President, shared her appreciation for the support.
“We are deeply grateful for Sparklight’s heartfelt commitment to the children and families we serve,” said Weaver. “This Charitable Giving Fund grant helps create an environment where we can build lasting memories and positive relationships between vulnerable families and law enforcement. With Sparklight’s help, our kids can feel joy and security, knowing their community genuinely cares.”
The company’s Charitable Giving Fund focuses on initiatives that create lasting, local impact, including education and digital literacy, hunger relief and community development. Since the Fund’s inception in 2020, Sparklight has awarded more than $1.2 million in grants to more than 275 nonprofits that make a difference in the lives of those they serve.
Nonprofit organizations may apply for a grant during open application periods each spring and fall. Applications for the spring 2026 cycle will be accepted April 1–30, 2026.
