Sparklight Associates Donate to Scared Heart Food Pantry to Help Individuals and Families in Need
JOPLIN, Mo. (Jan. 9, 2025) – Associates from Sparklight®, a leading broadband communications provider, recently raised and donated $958 to Sacred Heart Catholic Church’s Food Pantry to help provide holiday meals to those in need.
The initiative was part of an annual companywide campaign to help alleviate food insecurity across the 24 states Sparklight serves.
“We are grateful for Sparklight’s ongoing support in helping us provide nutritious food to individuals and families in need,” said Kelly Reddin, Sacred Heart Church Food Pantry Coordinator. “More area families are struggling. With Sparklight’s generosity, we were able to make 50 families’ holidays brighter by providing staples including canned goods, flour, fresh vegetables, a turkey or ham, fresh milk and butter.”
“By addressing the urgent issue of hunger during difficult economic times, local food banks are making a profound difference,” said Sam McGill, Sparklight Director, Regional Operations North Central. “We are proud to support their mission and help get immediate relief to individuals and families in need.”
