Sparklight Serves as Presenting Sponsor for Vincennes Watermelon Festival, Celebrating Community Spirit and Local Tradition
VINCENNES, Ind. (Aug. 19, 2025) – Sparklight, Vincennes’ hometown internet provider, was proud to serve as the Presenting Sponsor of the 2025 Watermelon Festival, held Aug. 1‒2 by the Knox County Chamber of Commerce. A proud member of the Vincennes community, Sparklight has sponsored the event for the past four years.
As Presenting Sponsor, Sparklight assisted Jamie Neal, Knox County Chamber President, with the ribbon-cutting ceremony and hosted a booth offering giveaways and a raffle. Sparklight associates also introduced local residents to cost-saving promotions, as well as Lift Internet, an affordable new internet plan helping individuals and families who receive federal assistance.
“We’re honored to once again take part in the Watermelon Festival as Presenting Sponsor,” said Ray Ness, Sparklight Director, Regional Operations – North Central. “This wonderful summer tradition reflects the heart of Vincennes — families gathering, local businesses thriving and residents celebrating community spirit. Our team lives and works right here in Vincennes, and we’re proud to provide the fast, reliable internet that keeps the community connected year-round.”
The Watermelon Festival sponsorship reflects Sparklight’s broader commitment to strengthening the communities it serves through local partnerships, connectivity and support for small businesses.
