Sparklight Conducts Cybersecurity Workshops in Hawkinsville, Strengthening Online Safety for Community Families
HAWKINSVILLE, Ga. (Aug. 13, 2025) – As cyberthreats become increasingly sophisticated, Sparklight®, is stepping up to help Hawkinsville families stay safe online by offering two free cybersecurity workshops.
The sessions will be held Thursday, August 21, at the Pulaski County Board of Education, 72 S. Warren St., in Hawkinsville, with two time options: 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. or 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., to accommodate working parents.
The interactive sessions will help equip attendees with the knowledge and tools to stay safe online. They will address real-world threats such as phishing, technical support scams and online fraud. Participants will learn how to identify warning signs, create strong passwords and safely navigate websites and emails, taking home actionable strategies for their families.
In addition to learning cybersecurity best practices, customers will be introduced to tools available through Sparklight – including Sparklight’s intelligent Wi-Fi solution, powered by eero.
